Nobody on our sites is asked to trade their safety for the schedule. This is how that is enforced rather than merely stated.

Six things we hold to on every site

APS Engicone treats safety as a schedule item with a named owner, budgeted the same way concrete and steel are.

Helmet, boots and high-visibility vest on every site, for every person, including visitors. Harnesses and fall arrest above two metres.

Nobody starts work on a site they have not been inducted on. Site-specific hazards, assembly points and emergency numbers, every time.

A short briefing at the start of each shift covering the day's work and its specific risks — recorded, with attendance.

Near misses are reported the same as injuries. A near miss that goes unrecorded is the incident that happens next month.

A qualified safety engineer on each active site with the authority to stop work — not a supervisor holding safety as a second job.

Dust suppression, silt control, noise limits near habitation, and waste and debris removed to authorised disposal.
